This is a 15" x 12" Platter, white with the hard to find purple transferware color. The border is bands of purple with two alternating geometric designs between them. A nice antique printed mark on the backside names this pattern "Tudor". There is a small impressed square with probably the manufacturer's name. It is too worn to identify the name. From experience, I believe the platter to be from the late 1800's. The platter is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. There are utensil marks and one glaze nick in the well of the platter.
P.S. I realize the photos look like the color is blue, but it really is purple.
