For your consideration a beautiful vintage early 20th century porcelain figurine of a Brown Dog. The length of the dog is 9 1/2" from the forward paw to the tail. The dog is 6" tall to the top of the ears. The dog is hand painted in shades of brown and tan. The dog has very black eyes and nose. Very high shiney glaze. In mint condition. There is some very light crazing around the head. The blue Crown Mark is for the German porcelain manufacturer Sitzendorf which was founded in 1850 by Alfred Voight. Also on the bottom is the numbers 39531 and a blue ink 4 . I do not know the breed of this dog, but it is handsome! Please enlarge the pictures to get a good look!
