Intensely pretty 8" Majolica round Plate. The motif is a large green grape leaf, ferns, pinkish flowers, and even a blue bow. The open-work border is carefully created with each individual hole outlined in green. It is unusual to find this border on a Majolica plate. The metallic glaze is bright and shiny with no crazing. There is an impressed number 7 on the backside. There is one very fine stable crack. Hard to see and find. No chips.
