This is a beautiful hand painted 10" Haviland Pickard porcelain Plate. Three gorgeous hand painted scarlet pink roses are on a back ground of pastel colored leaves in greens, pink, and pale blue. An exquisite one inch band of gold decorates the inside boarder. This band of gold is embossed with flowers, grapes, leaves and branches. Very elegant. The Plate is stamped in Green " Haviland France". The artist signature is on the front under a rose on the right side. Looks like Peitit ?? It is also marked with the Pickard brown circle, circa 1904 -1910. Pickard , Inc. started in 1893. The Chicago decorating studio still exists today.
