For your consideration is this outstanding 10" diameter rolled edge Cloisonne Bowl with three(4 1/4" diameter) serving bowls. The background is red with other enamel colors of green, yellow, blue, and white. A large yellow dragon decorates the interior. Also, there are four smaller five toe dragons surrounding the outside of the bowl. There is a thick brass edge on all the bowls. Lots of wavy wires made of copper on brass. These representing the technique for enamel applied and fired on metal objects called Cloisonne. This work was popular in the early 20th century. The blue bottom is marked with four Chinese symbols inside a gold square. Also three designs of a flaming pearl. One inside and two on the outside.
Vintage condition is very good.
