Detailed carving on the end of the handle makes this Victorian era Mother of Pearl Knife special. The total length is 8". Divided in sections, the Mother of Pearl Handle is 3", the blade is 4 1/2", and the ferrule is 1/2". The ferrule is engraved with a pretty design. The blade hallmarks are hard to see ( ?, B, cross symbol, S). Condition is very good. One side of the blade has two 1/4" scratches. Still, a wonderful Victorian piece of silverware from the late 1800's to early 1900's.
