This is a wonderful early 1900's English Confectionery rectangular Tin. It measures 9 1/2" x 7 1/2" x 4". The hinged lid has a lithographed copy of a painting depicting sail boats. The titled of the painting is printed on the lid edge "Britannia & Westward" off Cowes by Frank H. Mason. Paint colors are mostly different shades of blue still in good condition. The Tin was used for "Milady Confectionery" made by Waller & Hartely LTD.,Blackpool, England.
The Tin is in very good vintage condition. There are scratches, some corrosion on the interior, a few light dents. Top rim has a couple small dents, but the hinged lid still fits. This large attractive Tin will stand out with its pretty blues among your collection.
