Found in a box lot bought at an auction are these good quality black and white photos of class pictures. All girl classes. There are 10 of these 8" x 10" matted pictures. They are from the early 1930's. Taken at Bruntsfield Place, Edinburgh, Scotland. The photos were taken by the Alex Ayton Photographers Studio located at 42 and 43 Bruntsfield Place, Edinburgh, Scotland. This family had two or more generations in the business. These photos are an interesting study of school dress code in the early 1930's. Under the pictures, all the names of the people are written. Some photos include teachers. All are in good condition with some mat aging and stains. The photos are in very good condition. No scratches or tears.
