I wish this Doll could talk so she could tell me how old she is. She is 17" long. She has a china head, arms, and legs. Molded curly blond low brow hair with medium brown eyebrows. Sweetest face with a rosebud mouth. Mature face, not baby face. She has a cloth body. She wears a long dress with three layers of fabric. The top layer is organdy trimmed in gold sparkle lace. This layer snaps closed on her upper body back. The second layer is cotton eyelet. The third layer is a cotton petticoat with a ruffle. Under all this, cotton pantaloons with china legs attached. The legs are 2 1/4" long with black boots and blue garter bows. Her pantaloons are trimmed in eyelet. On her head she wears a pretty bonnet with blue satin ribbon ties.
I believe this Doll was made in Germany, but I find no marks on back of her shoulders. Her dress and bonnet may be vintage replacement because I don't think sparkle gold trim was available in the late 1800's. Her condition is very good. Her china head is slightly crazed. The clothes are faded, but no stains or tears. She is a well dressed lady to any Doll collection.
