This delightful 15" x 19" early 1900's embossed German Paper Calendar Top would be great to use for wall decoration at Christmas. Made of cardboard with cut-out work. The paper has an aged look, but the colors are still vivid. The small calendar which was attached to the bottom is long gone. There is very artistic landscape scene framed in a circle. The scene includes a German cottage, pine trees, and deer. Poinsettia flowers at the top and pine cones surround the edges. The cut out work is painted white as is the roof to look like snow. The snow is covered in silver glitter. There is the mark Germany on the right bottom side. Condition is vintage good with some distress. The main flower at the top has a tear, there is some spotting and small puncture holes. Overall, still very nice.
