The actual print is 16"1/2" x 12 1/4" depicting 1800's sailing vessels in the harbour of Edinburgh City, Scotland. Beautiful blue sky with clouds. The ships are interesting with small figures coming and going. The city of Edinburg is in the lower background. The glassed wood frame is painted black with a gold liner. The condition is wonderful. The original oil painting of this print was done by Alexander Nasmyth (1758-1840). He is described as the father of Scottish landscape painting.
