This attractive octagon shape Vegetable Bowl/Dish was made by Ford & Sons Staffordshire Potteries circa 1908. The pattern name is "Halford", a dark slate blue color. The rim of the bowl is outlined with a cross hatch band with embossed scroll handles. The stylized design is panels of dot beaded lines alternating with panels of roses and leaves on an octagon shape bowl. Notice the pretty embossed square shape top knob. The dish measurements are 11" x 9" . The base is 5" across. The bowl is 3 1/4" deep.
The condition is wonderful. There is one little rough spot on the bowl rim (not really a chip). Also one very fine hard to see hairline crack on the inner border of the bowl.
