This 8 3/4" x 10 3/4" framed with glass cute print is an image of two Children. The humorous saying across the bottom is "If I Was You I Couldn't Live Without Me". In very small print under the girl is the publisher's name Edward Gross Co. N. Y. Under the boy in the same small print "Painted by C.H. Twelvetrees". Charles Twelvetrees was American illustrator. He excelled in images of chubby cheek children. His whimsical cartoon characters were widely used in magazines, postcards, and calendars. His illustrations are highly collectible today, especially postcards. He also was known for his cute Valentine cards. This print is in a stand up frame or ready to be hung with string and eye screws. The frame is from Edinburgh Scotland. There is still a paper sticker on the back. The 1/2" frame is brown wood-grain (faux). Condition is wonderful with no stains or tears. Interesting to me that this print has been to Scotland and back to the U.S.
