This is a nice size 13 1/4" x 8 3/4" American Homer Laughlin Platter from the 1930's -40's. The Platter is not marked with a pattern name, but it is marked "Homer Laughlin" made in the U.S. C4 N. The rim has a gold band and the border is a sweet design of garlands and delicate pink roses. The condition is very good with no chips or cracks. There is some surface crazing. Also two tiny dark spots under the glaze in the upper well top center. It is a nice heavy weight Platter. Homer Laughlin was founded in 1871 in East Liverpool, Ohio. I believe they are still manufacturing china at the present time.
