These Six Plates are from the 1950's. Lovely floral sprays with multiple colors on a cream background decorate the surface. The 9" plates are scalloped and have a thin gold rim line. Marked with a unicorn symbol, Wedgwood & Co. LTD, England. Pattern name is "Adelaide". The mark of this firm are often mistaken for those of Josiah Wedgwood & Sons Ltd. These plates are from from Wedgwood Unicorn & Pinnox works, Tunstall, Staffordshire Potteries. This firm started making pottery in 1860.
The condition is very good with no chips or cracks. They do have some utensil marks and light crazing. The plates would make a nice addition to any 1950's kitchen.
