This is a nice white 7 1/2" tall Salt Glazed Jug/Pitcher. The base is 3 1/2" diameter. It is molded all over with a nice relief design. The pewter lid is gone, but the holes remain. One has a silver peg in it. The base is mark with a British Diamond Registration mark which is unreadable. But, it would date this type and style jug to the late 1800's. Condition is very good, except for three bottom rim chips. Only one shows from the front. This pitcher is still a very nice display item.
