From a well established English company, Royal Cauldon, I offer this 1930's- 1950's Pitcher. It is very large 10 1/2" tall x 8 1/2" wide ( to end of handle) with a 6" opening. The base measures 4 3/4" diameter. Since it does not have a spout, I think it was made for display. It would be pretty filled with a dried flower arrangement. The body is heavy earthenware weighing 5 lbs. The leave decoration is fall colors with a touch of blue. A relief cobalt blue line is used to accent stems and leaves. The body is vertically ribbed. The printed mark is 1930-1950's. Also there is an impressed number 602. The vase is clean and in very good condition with no chips or cracks.
