This is an impressive 5" x 7" Victorian Dresser Box from the late 1800's. Ladies would use them for grooming items or they would be used to hold men's collars. It has the original printed floral daffodil paper that has been lacquered on the light wood. The paper is still all there, but does have wrinkles and chipped areas. On top is an oval decal of a lovely Victorian Lady picking berries off a tree and putting them in a straw basket. All around the top, the edges have a beaded design. The latch and hinges are in good working shape. The bottom is covered in pattern paper. The inside is faded green fabric and it is worn. it is still a nice box for its age.
