This is a nice Romantic Staffordshire English History 10" Plate. Probably made in the early 1900's to sell as a souvenir. Titled "Haddon Hall". A dark green transfer pattern composed of an English landscape decoration. The Plate has a lovely ornate border pattern combining flowers, berries, and leaves. The border complements the center scene. The center scene depicts trees, a river, a figure fishing, another figure crossing the stone bridge on horseback, a castle or "Haddon Hall" in the background. There is one rim chip about 2:00 o"clock. It does not show because of the green color and scallop rim.
