This beautiful 15 1/4" x 11" Flow Blue Platter was made by Staffordshire Thomas Wood & Sons, Queen Street Pottery Circa 1907-1910. There is a Wood & Son Crown Mark with the pattern name"Warwick" Royal Semi Porcelain England on the backside. Because of the raised oval center and molded handles, I feel this platter held a tureen at one time. The platter is lovely without the tureen. The central bouquet contains a tall vase holding flowering leafy branches making this item a show piece. There is a wavy design on the edge top rim. Wonderful molded leafy handles. The color is slate blue. The border has a geometric band design with six small decorative reserves. The inner well has four bouquets of flowering leafy branches leading the eye to the pretty center motif. Fabulous condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing
