This nice 12 3/4" x 10 1/2" Blue Willow Platter is the traditional willow design. It is dark blue printed on an earthenware body. The mark is an 1800's beehive symbol with a wreathe and the initials J.J.K(or N) & Co. The beehive mark was used by early manufacturers 1850's to 1890's. I have been unable to match the initials to a particular company. This platter is in very good condition for its age. It does have light staining around the background tree and normal crazing. No chips or cracks.
