This is a nice Pair of 19th Century medium size White Staffordshire Dogs or Spaniels. The height is 10" tall with a 6 1/2" base. These dogs are molded with one leg separate from the body. This feature is not as common as the two legs molded together. Separate legs are a better example of mold work. The dogs have painted blue eyes which have been touched up. They have gold collars with a lock and chain going across the body. The paws are painted black-grey. The right dog has several hairline cracks on the black side. Both dogs have firing vent holes on the backside. Both dogs are crazed as expected for their age. The left dog has a chip on the base behind the tail.
