These 19th Century White Dogs are so cute because they are only 6 3/4" tall. The base is 4 1/2" x 3. This is a hard to find size. If you have a collection of different sizes, these would be a nice addition. They have painted yellow eyes, black noses, and a red lined mouth. Each has a vent hole in the back and bottom. The paint and glaze are still good. Both have hairline cracks. The right dog has a long one behind the right ear down the back. The left one has a stable crack under the right ear down the side. Both Dogs have small under rim base chips. They have over all light crazing as most of these old dogs do. It looks like once upon a time they used to have gilt on the collar and chains. These Dogs are adorable and look good on my bookcase shelve.
