This is a bright yellow 8" x 7" earthenware serving dish with the decoration of two red/orange radishes. There is also a stalk of celery flowing from the rim down into the center. The dish is nicely scalloped with some depth. This dish looks like Beswick Ware, but was made by John Stevenson & Sons LTD., Burslem Staffordshire Potteries. It is stamped with the Royal Pottery printed crown mark circa 1923-1936. The condition is very good. There is one under rim chip about 1:00 o'clock where the radish leaves begin. It is not noticeable from the front. Display this fun dish or use it for serving. Be great with sliced tomatoes.
