Large Rusty Miller Functional Stoneware Water Pitcher - image 1 of 8

This gorgeous stoneware pitcher was hand made in 1991 by Rusty Miller, a well known potter in northern Florida for many decades. His pottery business is called Functional Stoneware. His pieces are very well made and can be put in the dishwasher, microwave and oven. I have many of his pieces that I purchased in the 1970s-1990s, that I still use, some daily. They still look like new.

This heavy stoneware pitcher is in excellent condition and has never been used, only displayed. It stands 9" tall, and measures 5" in diameter at the base. It is roughly 8" wide including the handle. It has a glossy glaze with a drip pattern of white and grey over the dark blue base. The underside is signed Rusty '91.
