P.R. Storie Pottery Co. of Marshall, Texas, produced this beautiful large crock with a hand painted barn and windmill scene signed NF. The crock and lid are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There is crazing visible when the crock is wet, a pinprick nick on the rim, and a couple of paint smudges on the backside. The piece weighs 5 pounds, stands 9.25" tall, and 6" wide at the base. It is stamped in blue on the bottom, P.R. Storie Pottery Co., Marshall, Tex. This pottery factory was only open from 1977-1980.
