Wishful Thinking is a small Treasure Jest box figurine featuring a tortoise celebrating his 150th birthday. The piece was originally carved by Master Carver Peter Calvesbert in 1997 for Harmony Kingdom of England. The model was reproduced in resin and crushed marble, then hand painted by cottage artists in England. The box figurine was issued for sale to the public on 1/1/1998 in an edition size of 17170. It was retired on 9/1/1999.

This particular piece is Version 1 whose interior carving depicts the space probe, Cassini, which was launched on a scientific mission to Saturn. The inscription inside, VVEJGA, stands for Venus, Earth, Jupiter Gravity Assisted which refers to Its use of the gravity of planets to propel itself towards its final destination. Version 1 also has the date and time that the space probe will reach Saturn – 8:30 July 1 2004.

Wishful Thinking includes the hallmarks of a ©, heart, HBC logo (treble clef), and Pc, for Peter's initials. The box measures 1.65 x 2.36 x 2.91 inches. The model number is TJTU2. This box figurine is in excellent condition with the paper label on the bottom. It comes in its original round presentation box, along with a Harmony Kingdom pamphlet.
