This neat sugar dispenser in the Snowflake Blue pattern is a companion piece for the dinnerware and kitchenware of the same pattern name by Corning, Corelle and Pyrex. The Corelle pattern was popular and on the market between 1970 and 1976.
The sugar dispenser is made of milk glass with a chromed like metal top. The milk glass base is marked on the bottom Dispensers, Inc, Santa Barbara, Calif, and model number 930. The inside of the top states: Pat. D184567, Santa Barbara, Cal, Dripcut Starline Sugar Top No S-930. Dispensers, Inc, RD. 1959. The sugar dispenser measures about 5.25" tall and 3" in diameter at the base. It is in excellent vintage condition with only a few very light smudges on the metal top.
Fun Fact: The patent for the design of the dispenser itself (without the pattern) was granted on Mar 10, 1959 for a term of 14 years.
