I couldn't believe the excellent condition this covered casserole is in since it was produced in Occupied Japan between 1945-1952 by the Regal China Company. The rims of the cover and the casserole bowl are ringed with pretty red, pink, orange, and lavender flowers. The ornate handles, finial on top, the edge of the cover rim, and the base are all highlighted with gold with no loss, Both pieces are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. The bowl measures 11.25" from handle to handle, 3.5" deep and about 8.5" wide at fullest part of the bowl. The lid measures about 8.5" in diameter. Just a gorgeous serving piece to use and/or put on display.
Due to the size of the box needed to ship safely and weight, I will offer parcel post (retail ground)delivery as well as priority.
