This small Treasure Jest box figurine called Jersey Belles depicts two cute milk cows in their stall. Behind one of them stands two milk containers with a cute little brown cat sitting on them watching the little mouse hiding at their base. The figurine was carved by Peter Calvesbert for Harmony Kingdom of England in 1995. It was inspired by the cows that grazed near Peter's family home in Colwall. The box figurine was issued for sale on 8/1/1995, and retired on 9/1/1999. The edition size was 13768. The model identification in TJCO. The piece measures 2.2 x 2.13 x 2.13 inches. It is in excellent condition.
Hallmarks include an apple, a clock face with month 8 denoted by a dot, the HBC logo, and a snake wrapped around a staff for PC. Secrets, according to the Harmony Kingdom internet site, include: "“The sign to Colwall Church refers to Peter’s planned wedding to Andrea in September 1995. Inscribed on the upright of the fence is “PC loves MX5,” which refers to the Mazda sports cars that Peter loves. The tag hanging on the ear with “47” should have been a “48” for the address of a house Peter and Andrea were considering purchasing. " There is no interior carving. This Treasure Jest comes in a presentation box with a Harmony Kingdom pamphlet.
