Cannery Row, with two adorable kitties playing in an old tuna cardboard box, was originally carved by master carver Peter Calvesbert in 2000 for the UK based Harmony Kingdom. It was released on 6/1/2000, and retired on 10/29/2003. A total of 8611 boxes were produced for this figurine. The interior carving appears to be dolphins. The little mouse is poking his head out of the side of the box, and a dead bird lies against the box with its feet up in the air.
The dimensions of the box figurine are 2 x 3 x 2.5 inches. The model number is TJCA12. Hallmarks include the copyright symbol, a double diamond, the HBC logo (treble clef), edition number ( Infinity), and Pc for Peter Calvesbert.
Two versions of this box figurine were produced. This one with an orange cat is the Infinity Version called Cannery Row. The Version One has a grey cat and is called Tony's Tabbies II. That version is available in another listing.
Cannery Row is referenced in the Harmony Kingdom Reference Guide by Leanna Barron on page 45. The box figurine is in excellent condition. No box is available, but a place card is included.
