The UK based Harmony Kingdom began making the Treasure Jest boxes in the early 1990's. They have quickly become highly collectible. The boxes are intricate carvings by master artists made of crushed marble and resin to resemble antique ivory.
The Royal Watch, the official club for Harmony Kingdom collectors, began in 1995. Each year a special collector's kit is offered to members only.
This listing is for the complete collector set which includes a Bulldog pin and Rule Britannia, a majestic lion Treasure Jest box figurine. The Bulldog pin was designed by Monique Baldwin in 2001. The dimensions of the pin are 1.8 x .6 x 1.8 inches. The model number is RW02PI. The piece was only produced between 1/7/2002 and 3/31/2003, with an edition size of 7841. It is in excellent condition.
Rule Britannia is the lion who is sitting on a Keep Off The Grass sign. It was carved by Master Carver Peter Calvesbert in 2001. There are three labels with names surrounding his feet - Parsley, Lenny and Clarence. Their significance is not known to me. There is an interior carving of a lion's face. The hallmarks include the copyright symbol, a smiley face, HBC logo (treble clef) and Pc for the artist. The dimensions of the figurine are 1.4 x 2.2 x 2.5 inches. The model number is RW02LI. The piece was only produced between 1/7/2002 and 3/31/2003, with an edition size of 7841. It is in excellent condition.
The Royal Watch pieces are referenced in the Harmony Kingdom Reference Guide by Leanna Barron on page 188 and 198.
