This charming white Persian cat was designed for Beswick by Albert Hallam from 1963-1989. The model number is 1898. In 1989, Royal Doulton, which took over Beswick in 1969, started using the Royal Doulton mark on the animal figurines. This cat has such a mark stamped on the two front feet. The cat is in excellent condition and measures about 5" high and about 5.5" long.
