This small Treasure Jest box figurine called Paradise Lost depicts three demons sitting back to back above the flames of hell. The demons have horns, wings, claws, scaly pointed tails, and hairy legs. One is covering his eyes and holding a spook. One is sticking his tongue out. The third is holding a skull which appears to be biting him.
The figurine was carved by Peter Calvesbert for Harmony Kingdom of England in 1995. It was issued for sale on 10/1/1995, and retired on 4/1/1998. The edition size was 9855. The model identification in TJPPL. The piece measures 2.17 x 1.93 x 2.32 inches. It is in excellent condition.
Paradise Lost is one of two box figurines in the Paradoxicals Series. There is no interior carving other than the HBC logo of a treble clef. The hallmarks on this particular piece are difficult to see but include P Calvesbert and 95 written in the flames between the skull and the demon with his tongue out. I had to hold it under bright light to see them. This one does not have the presentation box or Harmony Kingdom pamphlet.
Paradise Lost can be found in The Harmony Kingdom Reference Guide by Leanna Barron on p. 94.
