This beautiful tiny enamel box was made by the English company called Halcyon Days. Halcyon Days set out to revive the eighteenth century English craft of enameling over copper to produce lovely little boxes which were originally used for beauty patches, snuff, or candies.
This particular tall enamel box is decorated with two beautiful panels of people in idyllic landscapes. The saying on the twist on lid states "Love and scandal are the best sweeteners of tea.". The interior is plain white. The box measures just over 1.25" tall and roughly .75" in diameter. It is in excellent condition. There is no box or pamphlet available.
