This adorable mini Treasure Jest box figurine called Catch As Catch Can depicts a cat who got stuck in a watering can chasing a mouse, who is hiding in the bottom of the can. The figurine was carved by Peter Calvesbert for Harmony Kingdom of England in 1999. It was issued for sale on 1/1/2000, and retired on 1/31/2006. The edition size was 11,018. The model identification in TJCA10. The piece measures 2.36 x 1.26 x 2.32 inches. It is in excellent condition.
Catch As Catch Can shows Peter's mouse hiding on the spout of the can. The inner carving is of the little mouse who was being chased bracing himself in the bottom of the watering can. Hallmarks include ©, a moon, HBC logo (treble clef), and Pc, Peter's initials. This Treasure Jest comes in a presentation box with a Harmony Kingdom pamphlet and place card.
