Signing Line is a greatly detailed Treasure Jest box figurine originally carved by Master Carver Peter Calvesbert in 1999 for the International Collectibles Exhibition (ICE) exclusive event piece. This was the third consecutive year that Harmony Kingdom of England was selected to create the event piece. After the model was reproduced in resin and crushed marble, then hand painted by cottage artists in England, it was issued for sale to the attendees at ICE on 4/1/2000 in an edition size of 5000. It is now only available on the secondary market. The original price sticker of $100.95 is still attached under the "lid."
Signing Line depicts a dog and cat in line for Murphy to sign their ICE pieces from 1998 and 1999. The piece is covered in "secrets" too numerous to mention. Hallmarks include the copyright symbol, double diamond, HBC logo (treble clef) and PC for the artist. The inner carvings consist of a cluster of grapes, a cherry, and a banana. (Five hundred of the boxes had three cherries inside.) The artist signed and dated the interior of the box: Peter C. 23.6.00.
This box figurine is in excellent condition and comes in its original round box with a harmony Kingdom pamphlet. The model number is TJICE00. The box measures 2.13 x 3.13 x 3 inches.
Signing Line is found in The Harmony Kingdom Reference Guide by Leanna Barron on p. 233. Just a wonderful signed event piece to add to your collection!
