Here's a beautiful platter in the red (sometimes called pink) transferware Tonquin pattern designed by Clarice Cliff for Royal Staffordshire! The mark on the underside reads "Tonquin" Royal Staffordshire Dinnerware by Clarice Cliff, Made in England. Clarice Cliff worked for several pottery works in England in the 1920's and on. She passed away in 1972.
This lovely platter is in excellent condition with only a few very light utensil marks only visible when tilted under bright light. It measures 11.5" long by 9.5" wide.
