This adorable fat little pig is holding a flute or stick in his hands. It is stamped on the bottom Made In Occupied Japan. Occupied Japan marks were used from 1945 to 1952 or so, when the country was occupied by the US following World War II. It has no chips or cracks but is covered in fine crazing. It appears to be a planter but could also hold toothpicks, pencils, or other items, or be used as a small vase. It measures 3.25" tall and about 2.25" wide.
