Drake's Fancy is a gorgeous large Treasure Jest box figurine of a Mandarin duck. The piece was originally carved by Master Carver Peter Calvesbert in 1990 for Harmony Kingdom of England. After the model was reproduced in resin and crushed marble, then hand painted by cottage artists in England, it was issued for sale to the public on 10/1/1990 in an edition size of 5508. The piece was retired on 4/1/1999. The model number is TJLDU4.

This Drake's Fancy was produced in 1996 when an egg was added as an inner carving and the HBC logo was placed near the tail feathers. The earlier edition had no hallmarks or inner carving. The box measures 4.21 x 2.2 x 2.52 inches. This box figurine is in excellent condition and comes in its original round box with a harmony Kingdom pamphlet.
