This pretty amber Depression glass covered sugar and creamer set is in the Patrician or Spoke pattern. It was produced by the Federal Glass Company from 1933-37. This glass appears yellow but is called amber or Golden Glo.
The glass sugar bowl and creamer are in excellent condition. The vertical lines seen in the photos are not cracks. They are seam lines made during production. The lid, which is extremely rare to find, has, unfortunately, a few dings. There are three fairly large chips (3/8ths of an inch wide) on the rim, as well as two small ones (less than 1/4"), all on the same half of the lid. The set would still display beautifully. Just turn the chipped side to the back!
The sugar measures about 5.25" tall with lid, 3.75" in diameter at the rim, and about 2.5" in diameter at the base. The lid measures 4.125" in diameter. The creamer is 3.5" tall, 4.75" from handle to spout, and 2.5" in diameter at the base.
