This beautiful vintage teapot with yellow roses was produced by Arthur Wood of England. It has the Arthur Wood England stamped mark, along with an incised Made in England and Antique, and a gold stamped Donegal which is the pattern name.
The teapot is in excellent condition with beautiful, bright decals, intact gold details, and scalloped rim and pedestal base. It does have overall light crazing, but no chips, cracks or repairs. The teapot stands about 5.75" tall, and measures about 9.5" from handle to spout.
Arthur Wood was the sole owner of the company from 1904-1928. In 1928, his son joined the company and its name was changed to Arthur Wood & Son.
