Belleek of Ireland produced this beautiful New Shell pattern from 1955-1991. Their delicate opaque porcelain is very thin and light. This creamer and open sugar were given the yellow lustre interior and detailing. The raised design on the body of the pieces reminds me of a sea urchin's shell.
The creamer measures almost 3" tall at spout, and 5" wide from spout to handle. It is in excellent condition. It has the fourth mark on the bottom which dates it to 1946-1955.
The open sugar measures almost 2.75" tall, and has a diameter at the widest point of just over 4". It is in excellent condition. The backstamp is the fifth mark which dates it to 1955-1965.
A beautiful set to add to your Belleek collection.
