California Ivy was a popular dinnerware pattern made in California, USA, from 1946-1986 by the Metlox Company. It was part of their Poppytrail line. The design was hand painted with green ivy leaves and brown stems and a brown twig handle. The design is only on one side. The bottom carries the Poppytrail by Metlox stamp which also states Made in California.
This creamer is in excellent condition and appears to have been used little, if at all. The shape is in the coupe style. The creamer measures about 7" long from handle to spout. It stands 2.75" tall at the spout and 3.25" tall at the top of the handle, and is 3" wide at the fullest part of the body. .
