This neat vintage compact by Evans has the look of a trunk with a small clock encased in the lid. It appears to have never been used as the puff and powder are quite clean. The mirror is on a spring so it can be lifted to reach the clock. The clock lifts up on one side so the hands can be set and the dial can be turned to wind the mechanism. It does produce a ticking sound when wound but I do not know if it keeps accurate time. There is slight discoloration on the underside which might possibly be able to be cleaned. I'll leave that to the buyer. The compact measures just over 2.5" square. and is about .75" thick. This would be a charming addition to your compact collection.
