In 1986-1988, the Franklin Mint issued a series of cat figurines for the Curio Cabinet Cats Collection. Each cat was produced from a different material, in different countries, and reflected various art forms popular through the ages. This is the beautiful ruby glass cat is in the style of Italian art glass from the 17th century. This particular piece still has the paper labels indicating it was crafted in Taiwan and produced by the Franklin Mint (FM). The cat measures about 2.25" long and about 3" high. It is in excellent condition, and comes with the pamphlet. It is one of the harder to find pieces.
