What a wonderful set of pewter salts and spoons! This set was made by a Russian craftsman, Serge Nekrassoff, born in 1895, who once was a captain in the Czar's Imperial Guard. He later moved to Germany, then Brazil, before settling in the United States. Nekrassoff designed hand hammered pewter pieces up until WWII, then switched to copper.
This wonderful set of salts and spoons was most likely produced around the 1920s-30s. Each salt is incised S. Nekrassoff on the underside. This set is in excellent condition. They measure about 2.5" wide including the handle, and are .75" deep. The spoons measure 2" long.
