In 1986-1988, the Franklin Mint issued a series of cat figurines for the Curio Cabinet Cats Collection. Each cat was produced from a different material, in different countries, and reflected various art forms popular through the ages. This beautiful cat is done in clear crystal glass and is reminiscent of the crystal houses of Lalique and Baccarat which produced crystal cats.
This particular piece still has the clear label with the Franklin Mint logo and date of 1988. The cat measures about 3" high. It is in excellent condition. The orange tinted spots in the photos are from light reflection. No paperwork.
