This little demitasse spoon is only marked Extra Coin Silver Plate. Coin silver is a term only used in America to assure customers that the silver was equal to that in US coins. From 1792-1906, coin silver could have from 750-950 parts per thousand of silver. In 1906, the US passed a law (the National Stamping Act of 1906)requiring coin silver to have at least 900/1000. The scroll decoration on the handle is not quite symmetrical. The spoon measures 4.25" long. In very good condition, but needs a bit of polishing.
