In 1986-1988, the Franklin Mint issued a series of cat figurines for the Curio Cabinet Cats Collection. Each cat was produced from a different material, in different countries, and reflected various art forms popular through the ages.
This frosted glass sleeping cat is made in the style of the French Art Nouveau movement which was popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This piece has a clear label on the underside stating 1986 Franklin Mint, and has a paper label stating Crafted in Taiwan. The cat measures about 2.5" from face to tail and about 1" high. It is in excellent condition. No paperwork
